WEEKEND CHEF

Posted in: Video Production | No Comments | Posted on by Q

MISSION

We wanted to create a laid back, fun and natural looking cookery show. A show that creates a nice atmosphere in which one can learn to create quick, easy & tasty meals for their friends and family. To add another level to this project we incorporated wine and cocktails into the show.

EXECUTION

After a lot of searching we eventually found a bright, enthusiastic and knowledgeable chef to be the face of the show.  This chef, Simon Lamont, brought a buzz to the project and coupled with his extensive knowledge of food, wine and cocktails really added to the look and feel we set out to achieve.

After we signed Simon up. We went location scouting. This took quite some time but we managed to find a wonderful kitchen in Blackrock and a fantastic garden in the City centre.

Once we secured the locations we went about sourcing the crew. We found a fantastic DOP called Robert Kennedy, camera man Andrew Mahon & sound man Ed Kennedy.

The majority of the promo was shot on the Red One using vintage Nikkon lenses.

Post production was handled by Tony Kenny and music was composed by Quintin Ahern.

OUTCOME

The promo is currently doing the rounds. So we will keep you posted.
